Shiv Crew Blurb

Rune Alexander wants to get through her days doing her job, which is protecting the humans against the myriad of supernatural creatures--known as Others--who exist uneasily in a human's world.

But she is unstable and damaged. She realizes how broken she is even as she continues to submit to the unspeakable things her lover does to her, craving desperately the strange peace she finds in the aftermath.

When she discovers things are not as they seem and a faceless human is torturing the supernatural groups in her city, she and her crew must break the rules and begin to protect the Others from the humans.

But as the darkness inside her becomes stronger and she is on the wrong side of a battle she must not lose, who will save Rune from herself?

SNIPPET

...from BLOOD AND BITE (book two) in the Rune Alexander series--

'Was she cured? No. But she was a lot less likely to pick up strange men and have them back to her house for a little slash and tickle...'

Book ll

I have yet to title book two in the Rune Alexander series.

I've already loosely written out some key points and am starting to write the book. I want to have it ready in at least three months so those who will read Shiv Crew won't have long to wait for the second one.

You'll see familiar characters from Shiv Crew--such as Gunnar the Ghoul--and some brand new faces.

I'll keep you updated...

The Book

Shiv Crew is finished!

Book one in this series is wrapped up and sent to editors and beta readers.

I am very excited and looking forward to getting it out to the readers.

Now I need to start thinking of a title for book two. Shiv Crew will be back :)

Lex

Lex's mother was raped by Others, so the story goes. She gave birth to Lex as a result, and took her hatred out on the girl.

"...Rune strode to Lex with her hand out before she realized the girl couldn’t see her. Slightly uncomfortable, she put her hand down. “I’m glad you’re feeling better, Lexi.”

Lex didn’t smile. She turned her face toward Rune. “Thank you.”

Rune gestured at the two chairs positioned in front of her desk. “Ellis can grab another chair if you’d all like to sit down.”

Before Rune could back away, Lex shot her hand out and wrapped her fingers around Rune’s wrist.
Carefully, she slid her fingers down until she was holding Rune’s hand, her expression solemn.
Just the tiniest bit, her body began to vibrate.

“Lex,” Levi said. “Maybe--”

“Quiet,” she said."
